In Coeur de Vtiver Sacr, perfumer Karine Vinchon reveals the sacred heart of vetiver by highlighting its different aspects. Composed of different types of vetiver, it opens with cool, crisp bergamot, which complements the cool crisp vetiver. Black tea soon appears and gives it a warm smokiness. Tarragon adds an herbal note of anise to play up vetivers sweetness, and dried dates and apricots add another dimension to it. Pepper and ginger show the warm spicy side of vetiver, while rose highlights its floral aspect, and iris reminds us that vetiver can be rooty and earthy too.

Sandalwood and cedar at the base play up its woodiness while Tonka and vanilla temper any harshness with a soft sweetness.
